Continuous Enrollment

We offer continuous enrollment through out the school year.  Please call the school and schedule an appointment for grades K-8.   Families can pick up their Mission Valley School Application at the school office (Room P-1).  As you enter the district grounds, Mission Valley Office and Parent Meeting Center is the first building on the right.

Students in grades 9-12 who are interested in Independent Study should talk with their counselors at Lompoc High School, Cabrillo High School, or Maple High School.  The counselor will refer them to Mission Valley.  If the student is accepted into the program, a teacher will be assigned to conduct the orientation and start the Independent Study sessions..

Enroll Today
  • For students currently enrolled in Lompoc Schools, parents can request an easy-to-use Independent Study application for grades K-12 from Mission Valley School at 742-3252.  When it is completed, return it to the MVS Office.  Students should continue in their regular classes until they are enrolled at MVS.
  • For students not enrolled in Lompoc Schools, the family can request an Independent Study application for grades K-12 from Mission Valley School.  Upon returning the completed application, the parent will be contacted by the MVS principal.  Students should continue present schooling until they are enrolled at MVS.
  • For students living outside the Lompoc Schools' boundaries, the parent should contact the student's home district and request an interdistrict transfer.  When the home district grants approval of the transfer, parents will need to fill out a Lompoc Unified School District enrollment form.  The family then follows the procedure in "students currently enrolled" above.
  • In each situation indicated above, the principal will meet with the family to fully explain the program and complete any paperwork.
